略歴
Biography

1936	ドイツ・ヘッペンハイムに生まれる Born in Heppenheim, Germany
1957-59	カールスルーエ国立美術大学でグリーシャーバー教授に師事、油絵を学ぶ Studies oil painting under HAP Grieshaber at State Academy of Fine Arts Karlsruhe
1959	ドイツ青年美術家展（バーデンバーデン）で受賞 Awarded Pankofer prize on the occasion of the German Youth Art prize
1961	第２回パリ青年ビエンナーレで受賞 Awarded Prix de jeunes artistes in the Paris Biennale
1962	フィレンツェに住む Lives in Florence, Italy フィレンツェのヴィラ・ロマーナ賞を受賞 Awarded the Villa-Romana-Prize in Florence
1962-63	ローマに住む Lives in Roma, Italy
1963	ローマのヴィラ・マッシモ賞を受賞 Awarded the Villa Massimo scholarship in Roma
1966	第33回ベニス・ビエンナーレでユネスコ絵画賞を受賞 Awarded UNESCO Prize in The Venice Biennale
1966-68	ベルリン美術大学客員教授 Teaches as guest professor at the Staatliche Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Berlin
1980-83	マインツZDFテレビセンターに５体の頭部彫刻を設置 Installs 5 head sculptures at the ZDF television broadcaster based in Mainz
1984-00	カールスルーエ国立美術大学教授 Teaches at the Akademie in Karlsruhe
1986-87	デュッセルドルフ駅前再開発に彫刻３ユニットを制作 Creates 3 units sculptures for redevelop in front of the Düsseldorf station
1989	シュトゥットガルト　ハンス・モルフェンター賞を受賞 Awarded the Hans-Molfenter-prize in Stuttgart
1991	ヘッセン州文化賞受賞 Awarded the Land Hessen Cultural Prize サンパウロ・ビエンナーレで大賞受賞 Awarded the grand prize in the São Paulo Biennale
